MESTA PARK
Looking for a vibrant, modern community in a historic setting? Mesta Park may be just the place for you. The tree-lined streets of this classic OKC neighborhood make a perfect setting for everyone from young professionals to families to retirees. Prairie Schools homes, with large and beautiful covered porches, mark the dominant architectural style of this great neighborhood. Home prices in Mesta Park often fall within the lower $100s to mid $300s.

CROWN HEIGHTS-EDGEMERE HEIGHTS
Crown Heights and its neighbor Edgemere Heights are consistently some of the most sought-after places to live in Historic OKC. With a beautiful park and bike lines, these quiet neighborhoods encourage community and outdoor activity. The style of these spectacular homes range from Tudor and Colonial Revival to Minimal Traditionalist. Typical homes here range from lower $100s to $500k+.

VENICE NEIGHBORHOOD
Venice Neighborhood is where my family has called home for the past 5 years. Venice Boulevard, which the divides the community east and west, is an OKC treasure. You won’t go a night without seeing neighbors walking or jogging down this beautiful tree-lined street. The streets are quiet and the neighbors are fantastic. Home prices range from entry-level $50k to classic Venice Boulevard properties around the mid $200s.

LINWOOD PLACE
Linwood Place is a wonderful, eclectic collections of large two-story homes on sprawling lots to cute smaller homes. It is anchored by one of the most desirable elementary schools in the OKC district, Linwood Elementary. Architectural style varies from Tudor Revival to Craftsman to Colonial Revival to Mediterranean to Spanish Eclectic. Linwood Place home prices often begin at $50k and continue up to the mid $300s.

CLEVELAND UCD
The rediscovered Cleveland Urban Conservation District is also lined by beautiful Venice Blvd. The homes styles vary from Traditional, American Prairie, Baja, and many others. Cleveland homes can typically be found listed for the lower $100s to the mid $200s.

SHEPHERD NEIGHBORHOOD
Shepherd Neighborhood is the place to be if you want the beauty and character of neighborhoods like Crown Heights, but are on a tighter budget.  The fabulous properties in Shepherd range from $80k to around $200k.


GATEWOOD HISTORIC DISTRICT
Gatewood is home to University, Gatewood Addition, and Carey Place, which each have their own distinct flavor. Carey Place is a unique and much admired walkable street lined with spectacular Mediterranian and Spanish influenced estates. Another attractive feature to this community is the energetic and evolving Plaza District, home to art studios, a dance academy, cafes and boutique shops, as well as the Lyric Theater. Homes prices range from $50k to the mid $200s.

EDGEMERE PARK
If you are looking for a great community, anchored by a fabulous park, Edgemere Park Historic District may be the place for you.  Dominated by the Tudor Revival architecture, the homes in Edgemere range from stately mansions to bungalows. Other predominate styles include Colonial Revival, Spanish Eclectic and even one Art Moderne residence. Prices start around $100k and go up to around $500k.

HERITAGE HILLS
With the urban revitalization of downtown OKC, came the resurgence of the coveted Heritage Hills Historic Preservation District. Today, Heritage Hills is still home to city leaders and young families alike – just as it was 100 years ago. Tree-lined sidewalks and irreplaceable historic spaces offer a quality of life that comes only with age and history. A historic Heritage Hills estate can be found from about $200k to $1-2m+.

CRESTWOOD
Much like its friend to the south, Crestwood Neighborhood streets are lined with Tudor Revival, Bungalow, and Spanish Eclectic style homes.  Some of the love and attraction to Crestwood comes from its location in the much desired Cleveland Elementary School boundary.  Crestwood homes can often be found for $50k to the lower $200s.

MILLER NEIGHBORHOOD
Miller Neighborhood boasts one of the most active homeowners associations in the Historic OKC.  Miller consists most of Tudor Revival and Craftsman Bungalow homes, that are open to buyers just starting out ($50k) but continue up to some classic area homes at $200k+.

LINCOLN TERRACE
Lincoln Terrace is truly a distinct part of Oklahoma History.  In the shadows of the State Capital complex, many of the residences here have been have been home to some of the state’s most influential political and social leaders.  You can grab a piece of OK history from somewhere between $50 and $400k.
